New Amiibo and Mario Party 10 Coming This Spring
A brand new wave of Amiibos is going to be visiting stores in Feb, but beyond that, brand new figures will quickly be included to the growing collection this spring. Figures include: Lucina, Robin, Charizard, Wario, Neess, and Charzard. Furthermore, beginning March 20th, a number of Mario Amiibos is going to be available. This collection includes: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser and Toad.
The announcement from the Mario type of Amiibos is along with the reveal of Mario Party 10, that also releases on March 20 in stores and in the Wii U eShop. It offers 3 different game modes: Mario Party, Bowser Party, and Amiibo Party – all of the that will require getting an Amiibo. Touching an Amiibo towards the Wii U Gamepad adds the Amiibo like a game piece while activating a unique board concerning the character. A Mario board, for instance, may need eating a mushroom to all of a sudden grow, or collecting coins to defeat opponents. Each character includes a special trait to create boards stick out. The sport works using the following Amiibos: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Rosalina and Wario. Super Smash Bros Amiibos works with Mario Party, but you will need to erase the information from this. Nintendo may also provide a small group of special bundles, with a Mario Amiibo, from select retailers.
A complete Amiibo and game compatibility list are available at world wide web.nintendo.com/amiibo/compatibility.
On the final Amiibo note, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is going to be updated on March 20 to aid the Toad Amiibo. Tapping the Toad Amiibo around the Wii U Gamepad adds Pixel Toad to the level, hidden, and waiting found just like a hide-and-seek game.
